Waldwick High School
A Tradition of Keeping Our Graduates Safe
For 50 years the Graduation Ball has kept Waldwick High School Seniors in a safe, drug and alcohol free environment following their graduation ceremony. The Graduation Ball committee is composed of parents of the senior class who volunteer their time and efforts to transpose the Waldwick High School cafeteria into a different theme each year to the surprise of the graduates. The committee starts their endeavor upon the previous year’s graduation as junior parents and begin the process of tearing down the previous year’s ball. Starting in September the process begins of deciding on a theme for the new graduating class and the tradition of building the sets begins at a garage specifically designed for the construction.
